KARACHI experienced its coldest night and morning of the winter season. The minimum temperature recorded at 8°C on Tuesday due to cold waves in Karachi caused by chilly winds from Balochistan. Wind speeds throughout the day are expected to be 5-20 km/h, with origins from the north, northeast, and northwest regions of Pakistan.
The Meteorological Department forecasts that over the next 24 hours, temperatures will range as follows:
- Maximum temperature is projected at 26°C, while minimum could drop to 7°C. The actual chill might feel 2-4 degrees lower than these figures due to wind. Additionally, it’s reported that on December 28, Karachi recorded a low of 8.5°C according to the department.
