Murder of Karachi’s Young Couple Over Property Dispute
KARACHI: A newly-wed youth was gunned down here on Monday in the old city area over some property dispute running in Punjab, police said.
A murder took place near office of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Muhammad Osama, 22, died from critical bullet injuries. His body was taken to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi where he was pronounced dead. He had married recently in Narowal after spending a year living with relatives there before moving back to the city just prior his murder near Roomi Centre on Monday morning while heading towards uncle’s office for joining work as transport helper, police said adding:
- Mithadar SHO Rana Hamid Ahmed reported that armed pillion riders opened fire without any warning at the victim and fled after shooting.
The man had some property dispute with close relatives in Punjab which might be related to his murder as per police opinion, opined by a senior officer.
