An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Thursday sent two suspects to jail on judicial remand for their involvement in a suicide bombing near the Karachi airport.
The suspects Javaid and his female aide, Gul Nisa, associated with the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), were brought before the ATC court. The IO informed the court that JIT has been formed to investigate their role and had met previously. The IO requested an extension of police custody until December 11 for interrogations but was denied by the court, leading to judicial remand instead.

- Initial FIR registered regarding Javaid’s confession implicating a banker and trader.
- CTD Inspector Umar Farooq conducted an interrogation.
- BLA’s Majeed Brigade facilitated the attack financially by arranging funds through a private bank in Hub Chowki, Balochistan.
- A vehicle purchased for Rs7.1 million was used as part of the operation on September 3.
